Privacy Policy

Feedrate has no account, no advertising and no tracking. Your machines, setups and every number you enter stay on your device. The only thing that leaves it is an anonymous purchase record, so the App Store can confirm you own the app.

What stays on your device

Your machines, saved setups, unit preference and the answers you gave during setup are written to your device's local storage. They are never transmitted to us. Deleting the app deletes them permanently — we cannot recover them for you, because we never had them.

Purchases

Feedrate is free to download and requires a single one-time purchase to use. The purchase is processed by Apple. We never see your payment details, card number or billing address.

We use RevenueCat to verify that a purchase is valid and to restore it if you reinstall or change device. To do this, RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device and the App Store receipt, and stores that record so a restore still works months later on a different device. It is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account — we never set a user ID, so even we cannot tell you apart from anyone else. It answers exactly one question: has this device bought the app. RevenueCat also shows us aggregate sales figures built from these records. Apple classifies this as collecting Purchase History, and our App Store privacy label declares it as such, not linked to your identity and not used for tracking. If you email us

If you contact support or send a feature request, we receive whatever you put in that message — your email address, and any device or app-version details you choose to include. We use it to answer you and to fix the thing you told us about. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass it to anyone.

Children

Feedrate is a tool for machinists and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, write to octacoach143@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change ever means we start collecting something, we will say so plainly rather than burying it here.
